Open Dutch Sailing Championships

The Open Dutch Sailing Championships were founded in 2002 to bring together the many different Dutch Championships in the Olympic classes. It is an initiative of the Dutch Watersports Federation and is organized in collaboration with sports marketing agency TIG Sports. By bundling the Dutch Championships in this way, the promotion of Dutch sailing gets a boost both nationally and internationally. Medemblik, which lies on the shore of the IJsselmeer, is the ideal location for this event.
